Ord-siejepo Jlateh is Assistant Commissioner for Budget and Finance at Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA). Since 2000, he has worked with many institutions such as Liberia Mission of SDA as an accountant; the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as National Senior Finance Officer; and the West African Union Mission of SDA, a larger organ of the Seventh-Day Adventist, comprising Gambia, Sierra Leone and Liberia. He also worked for the USAID-sponsored Governance Economic Management Assistance Program (GEMAP) as Assisting Comptroller to International Financial Expert with assignment at the National Port Authority.

Jlateh also served as an Assistant Project Accountant at the World Bank Project Financial Management Unit at the Ministry of Finance. At the same Ministry, he worked as Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Enforcement at the then Bureau of Customs and Excise before. He was then transferred to the Liberia Revenue Authority, where he served as Internal Audit Manager, responsible for Customs Audit. Finally, he was promoted to the position of Assistant Commissioner of Budget and Finance LRA where he presently serves.

Ord-siejepo Jlateh was born on October 16, 1970, in Grand Cess, headquarter of the then Kru Coast Territory, now part of Grand Kru County. He completed elementary and junior high school at the P.G. Wollor School in Grand Cess and went on to complete high school at the Cape Palmas High School in Harper, Maryland County in 1987.

He then entered the University of Liberia in 1990, graduating in 1999 with BBA degree in Accountancy, with Economics as minor. He also graduated from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law in 2010 with an LLB degree. Having been awarded a scholarship by the Commonwealth of Australia, Mr. Jlateh graduated with a Masters of Professional Accounting (advanced) degree with a specialization in international business from the University of Newcastle in Australia.

Mr. Jlateh is a Christian, a member of the Palm SDA Church in Logan Town, Bushrod Island. He is an Elder and a choir member in the Church. He is married to one wife, a union that has been blessed with some wonderful kids.
